CWC Chlorine Dioxide

To generate Chlorine Dioxide, no heat and no pressure are used or needed to complete the reaction and a minimum chemical dose is just enough to drive and accelerate the rate of the reactions. The CWC Reactor works as a heterogeneous catalysis and is based on Nanotechnology.

Chlorine Dioxide is more effective and kinder to the environment Chlorine Dioxide is considered higher yield & greater efficiency and has a higher oxidation capacity, with a lower oxidation strength than chlorine, making it at least 2.6 times more powerful per PPM according to World Health Organization (WHO) CT values.

No carcinogenic by-products & no bad taste occurrences in water- Chlorine Dioxide acts only by oxidation and does not combine with organic compounds to form environmentally hazardous by-products such as Trihalomethane (THM) and other chlorinated organic compounds that have been listed as potentially carcinogenic.

Less corrosive- Chlorine Dioxide has a lower oxidation potential and does not hydrolyze to form an acid, and therefore is less corrosive. Works over a wide pH range The effectiveness of chlorine is very pH dependent and is almost ineffective above pH 8. Contrary to this Chlorine Dioxide is effective at pH 2-12.
